HOW TO FIND YOUR BELT SIZE
A well-fitting belt should feel natural from the first wear.
To ensure accuracy and consistency, all Beltmaster belts are measured the same way.
How We Measure Our Belts
The Most Accurate Method — Measure a Belt You Own
- Lay a belt you currently wear flat.
- Measure from the fold (where the buckle meets the leather) to the hole you use most often.
That measurement in inches is your belt size. If your measurement falls between sizes, round to the closest even number.
If the result happens to be an odd number, consider whether you may need slightly more or less room in the near future. If you anticipate needing extra room, select the next larger even size. If you prefer a closer fit, choose the next smaller even size.
Alternative Method — Measure Your Waist
If you do not have a belt to measure, use a flexible measuring tape.
- Wrap it around your waist at the position where you plan to wear the belt — whether at the waist or slightly lower at the hips. Pull it snug but comfortable.
The measurement in inches is your recommended belt size.
- If measuring directly is not possible, you may use your pant size and add 2 inches as a general guideline. Because pant sizing varies by brand and fit, this method is less precise than measuring directly.
Important Notes
DO NOT measure the total length of a belt.
DO NOT rely solely on pant size without adjustment.
Leather naturally relaxes slightly with wear. Selecting a size that places your fit near the center hole allows room for subtle adjustment over time.
